Лучше один раз увидеть, чем сто раз услышать

Лу́чше оди́н раз уви́деть, чем сто раз услы́шать.
Translation:
Better to see once than hear a hundred times.
Meaning:
This proverbs does not really need an explanation. It is the Russian version of the famouns English phrase "a picture is worth a thousand words".
